Over time, the fabric develops a leather-like appearance that weathers to the nuances of each Hat owner. Your Hat will become as unique as you are. Like all Tilley Hats, the Outback Hat has a UPF rating of 50+ to protect from the sun, while also being rain repellent to protect from the elements.
