An Ecuadorian style of the Classical Trilby hat. It is a modern version of the Classical Trilby shape, a different style than usually associated with Panama hats, but made in the traditional way. 

Great hat for formal or casual wear, it is a lightweight and very durable hat. Comes with a 4 cm brim and suited ribbon as pictured.

These hats are hand woven from a natural fibre of a palm-like plant know as Paja Toquilla (or Carludovia Palmata). Grown only in two regions of Ecuador, and at altitudes of no more than 1,000 metres.
